Nova Sintra, Dec 7 (Bravanews) - Around 29 workers who were at the front of the fight against the locust plague during the month of August, can spend Christmas with their families, without seeing the color of their hard-earned money.
As reported here on this portal, MAA workers contacted Bravanews to denounce the negligence of the MAA Delegation in paying them for the work carried out in the fight against the locust plague in August.
More than three months later and feeling hopeless, some of the workers contacted by Bravanews say they have no hope of receiving the amount before Christmas, a time for family life.
“Certainly, the children of those responsible will have gifts and good food during Christmas, while our children dream of at least having a small gift or a different food”, they claim.
"This is not done with a family man, because they are playing with our sweat, but God will give justice, in the face of this act of abuse, arrogance and neglect", said one of the members of the group.
Afraid of reprisals, they do not want their names revealed, as they have already been threatened by the Delegate not to be recruited for other jobs if they continue to claim.
Note from Bravanews: In a message, the MAA Delegate said he had no satisfaction to give Bravanews on the matter, and only asked us to name the whistleblowers, something we do not do, according to the source protection law. “I don't have to confirm or deny anything,” he said emphatically and boastfully.
