Elias successfully completed his academic years at the technical school, achieving an impressive average of 17.74 in the 11th and 12th grades. His exemplary academic career is a testament to his commitment to excellence and dedication to learning.

In an audience with the Mayor Francisco Tavares, young Elias expressed his gratitude to the Brava City Council (CMB) for the support offered throughout his educational journey. He also emphasized the importance of the partnership between the CMB and the technical school, as well as the student home, which provided an enabling environment for his academic development.

Elias' academic achievements have not gone unnoticed, and he has already secured his enrollment at the University of Cape Verde (UNICV) for the 2023/24 academic year. In addition, “his outstanding average makes him a strong candidate to receive the 100% tuition subsidy offered by the CMB in recognition of his excellent grades,” said President Tavares.

The success story of Elias Lopes is an inspiring example for other young people in the region who are considering the Via Técnica option. It shows how the combination of personal determination, community support, and a focused educational environment can lead to remarkable achievements and promising opportunities.

Brava City Council congratulates Elias on his accomplishments and reaffirms its continued commitment to supporting the education and development of young people in the region. Elias' story becomes an incentive for other students to pursue their dreams and achieve success through education.
